The course focuses on basic practical techniques and personal development taught in the context of the philosophy that underpins Yoga.
It is aimed at providing a structured course to widen practical experience and to encourage personal development for serious students who do not necessarily wish to prepare for teacher training. To provide basic grounding for those who do wish to prepare for teacher training.
The course is 60 hours minimum and is held one Sunday a month over 10 months. A BWY Foundation Course Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to students who achieve 80% attendance or above. This is not a certificate to teach. It is helpful in attaining a place on a BWY Teacher Training Diploma course as it attests to the student’s commitment and that they have a good foundation of basic knowledge.
